TFP is the world’s largest independent MGA. We are a high-growth and highly-diversified business, with a differentiated model. We underwrite a wide range of complex global specialty (re)insurance risks for a diverse set of highly-rated, primarily long-term Capacity Providers, and provide comprehensive portfolio and capital optimization services, including exposure management, outwards reinsurance structuring and purchasing, and claims handling. We have a fee-based business model and are paid placement and profit commissions by our Capacity Providers. We are not a (re)insurance carrier that underwrites risk in exchange for (re)insurance premium. We operate two complementary segments, Fidelis Underwriting and Pine Walk, which originate specialty (re)insurance risks and underwrite across more than 150 complex lines of business and over 140 countries in our Specialty, Bespoke, and Reinsurance pillars. Our diversity contrasts with many traditional MGAs that are often monoline in nature, operating across a restricted set of geographies that leaves them exposed to significant movements in individual markets. Richard Brindle-led underwriting teams have outperformed across multiple market cycles over a more than 40 year period and our team’s expertise extends across Property D&F, crisis management, marine, energy, aviation, space, credit, political risk, casualty, accident & health, and reinsurance lines of business, among others.
