Jernigan Capital, Inc. is a commercial real estate finance company that lends to private developers, owners and operators of self-storage facilities. We believe that present market conditions are favorable for realizing attractive risk-adjusted returns on loans secured by self-storage facilities. Our founder, chairman, president and chief executive officer is Dean Jernigan, a 30-year veteran of the self-storage industry, including a combined 16 years as the chief executive officer of Storage USA and CubeSmart, both New York Stock Exchange listed self-storage REITs. During his time at these two companies, Mr. Jernigan oversaw the investment of over $3 billion of capital in the self-storage industry. Subsequent to the closing of this offering, we anticipate funding an initial loan portfolio consisting of 15 loans in the aggregate principal amount of approximately $122.7 million.
