We are a blank check company. We may pursue an initial business combination in any business or industry but expect to target opportunities and companies that are in the energy and power value chain. Global economic growth, population increases and expanded access to energy are driving a growing demand for energy resources, both traditional and newer forms. We believe that the low-impact production, transportation, and consumption of energy, coupled with effective carbon mitigation strategies, will be critical in ensuring a sustainable future. Our focus will be on targeting opportunities within the energy transition, oil and gas, and power sectors. Specifically, we are interested in companies and innovations that support the transition towards a low-carbon emitting future, aiming to significantly reduce greenhouse gas (“GHG”) emissions even as energy consumption continues to rise. In addition to the energy transition, we will also target opportunities in the upstream exploration and production (“E&P”), midstream, and oilfield services sectors.
