2022 is on track to be the slowest year for IPOs in over a decade

We are just past the halfway mark of 2022 and now well into the third quarter of what could be the IPO market’s slowest year in over a decade.

Just 42 IPOs have raised $4.3 billion year-to-date, the lowest level of activity from new issuers since 2009. Compared to this point last year, deal count has declined 82%, while proceeds have plummeted 95%.
