Software provider Basis Global files for a $100 million IPO

Basis Global Technologies, which provides SaaS for programmatic ad buying, workflow automation, and analytics, filed on Friday with the SEC to raise up to $100 million in an initial public offering.

Basis Global Technologies states that it is a leading provider of cloud-based workflow automation and business intelligence software for marketing and advertising functions within enterprises. The firm's platform is composed of workflow automation software, a media buying execution platform, and an AI engine that optimizes marketing performance in real-time. Basis offers its software platform under a SaaS business model that incorporates usage-based pricing and, to a lesser extent, seat-based licensing fees, and serves customers ranging from mid-market advertising agencies to Fortune 500 global brands.

The Chicago, IL-based company was founded in 2001 and booked $507 million in revenue for the 12 months ended September 30, 2021. It plans to list on the Nasdaq under the symbol BASI. Basis Global Technologies filed confidentially on October 12, 2021. Goldman Sachs, BofA Securities, RBC Capital Markets, BMO Capital Markets, Stifel, and Needham & Co. are the joint bookrunners on the deal. No pricing terms were disclosed.
