Capella Education Company, an exclusively online post-secondary education services company, registered for an initial public offering Monday morning. The Minneapolis, MN-based firm has increased its revenues an average of 66% each year over the last four years, from $16 million for the FY ended 2000 to $118 million for the FY ended 2004. CS First Boston will be the lead manager for the deal. Terms and timing have yet to be announced.
