Downsized Apollo Commercial IPO raises $200 million

Apollo Commercial Real Estate Finance, a newly formed REIT planning to invest in commercial real estate debt and CMBS, raised $200 million by offering 10 million shares at $20 each on Wednesday evening. The company had originally planned to raise $400 million but cut its deal size in half on Wednesday morning. The stock is expected to begin trading on the NYSE under the ticker "ARI" on Thursday. JPMorgan, Citi and Barclays were the bookrunners on the deal.
