Hatteras Financial, a newly created real estate investment trust (REIT) managed by Atlantic Capital Advisors, priced its offering at $8 on Thursday, the low end of the proposed range. The company sold 10 million shares, 25% more than originally expected. The shares are expected to begin trading Friday on the NYSE under the ticker HTS. Keefe Bruyette Woods and Banc of America were the lead underwriters on the deal.
