Chinese computer-based testing and education company ATA Inc. files for an IPO

ATA, Inc., a leading provider of computer-based testing services, career-oriented educational programs and test preparation solutions in China, filed with the SEC for an IPO on Tuesday. The firm booked $17.7 million in revenue for the 12 months ended Sep. 30. Merrill Lynch is the lead underwriter on the deal. No terms were disclosed in the initial filing.
