Stock market cycles: Fitness bike maker Peloton prices $1.2 billion IPO at $29 high end

Peloton Interactive, which sells connected home fitness equipment and monthly class subscriptions, raised $1.2 billion by offering 40 million shares at $29, the high end of the $26 to $29 range. Existing shareholder TCV invested an additional $100 million in a concurrent private placement.

New York-based Peloton plans to list on the Nasdaq under the symbol PTON. Goldman Sachs, J.P. Morgan, BofA Merrill Lynch, Barclays, UBS Investment Bank and Cowen acted as lead managers on the deal.
