Chimera Investment, a newly-formed specialty finance REIT focused on the residential mortgage sector, priced 33.3 million shares at the expected $15 per share. The stock is expected to begin trading Friday on the NYSE under the ticker "CIM." Merrrill Lynch, Credit Suisse and Deutsche Bank were the joint book runners on the deal.
