American Public Education, which offers online postsecondary education to the military and public service sector, priced 4.7 million shares at $20 per share, an 8% increase from the midpoint of the revised $18 to $19 range. The stock is expected to begin trading Friday on the NASDAQ under the symbol "APEI." William Blair and Piper Jaffray are the joint book runners on the deal.
