Plus-size women's fashion retailer Torrid withdraws $100 million IPO

Torrid, a plus-size women's fashion retailer spun out of Hot Topic, withdrew its plans for an initial public offering on Monday. It originally filed in July 2017 with a proposed deal size of $100 million.

The City of Industry, CA-based company was founded in 2001 and booked $686 million in sales for the 12 months ended April 30, 2017. It had planned to list on the NYSE under the symbol CURV. BofA Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, J.P. Morgan and Jefferies were set to be the joint bookrunners on the deal.
