Allegro Microsystems, which designs, develops, manufactures and markets magnetic sensor integrated circuits (ICs) and application-specific analog power semiconductors for the automotive, computer and office automation, communications, consumer and industrial markets, filed for an IPO Wednesday with the SEC. The company filed to be traded on the NASDAQ with the ticker "ALGM." Lehman Brothers and Daiwa Securities are the lead managers on the deal.
