Beyond Meat (BYND), which makes plant-based meat products that replicate the taste of real beef, sausage and poultry, is the first specialty food producer IPO since AdvancePierre in 2016, which was acquired by Tyson Foods a year later.

Beyond’s flagship brand, Beyond Burger, is sold in 11,000 grocery stores in the US and served at 11,000 fast food retailers, including A&W Canada and TGI Fridays.
