In a sign of weak demand, independent oil and gas exploration and development firm Continental Resources priced its relatively large offering of 29.5 million shares at $15, below its proposed $16-$18 range. Merrill Lynch and JP Morgan acted as joint book-running managers for the IPO. The stock is set to begin trading on Tuesday under the ticker symbol "CLR".
