Blank check firm Symmetry Holdings files for IPO

Symmetry Holdings, a blank check company focused on industrial, asset-based businesses in North America, filed for an initial public offering on Tuesday. The company plans to sell 18.75 million units at $8.00 per unit. FTN Midwest Securities is the sole bookrunner on the deal. The company has filed to trade on the AMEX under the ticker SHJ-U.
