Unisphere Networks, a provider of routers, switches and broadband products was supposed to be spun off by Siemens via an initial public offering. Instead, Juniper Networks announced in May that it will acquire the unit. As a result, Unisphere withdrew its IPO registration statement Wednesday. CS First Boston was the lead manager.
