Corel, a provider of affordable and easy-to-use productivity and graphics and digital imaging software, including WordPerfect and Paint Shop Pro, registered for an initial public offering Tuesday evening. The company plans to offer 8.0 million shares at a range of $18 to $20, with 38% of the share being sold by insiders. Morgan Stanley and JPMorgan top the list of underwriters on the deal. Timing has yet to be determined.
