May 12, 2006

ORBCOMM, which operates 30 low-Earth orbit satellites for providing commercial wireless messaging services, filed for an IPO once again on Friday. The Fort Lee, NJ based company first filed to go public in 1998, but postponed the offering only a few months later. UBS Investment Bank, Morgan Stanley, Banc of America and Cowen & Co. are expected to manage the IPO this time around. Terms and timing have yet to be announced.
