Carrols Restaurant Group, which operates 542 Burger King, Pollo Tropical and Taco Cabana restaurants, priced its 10 million share IPO at $13, below its proposed $14 to $16 price range, on Thursday night. The deal size was cut as insiders offered only 4.3 million shares, 5 million less than originally expected. Wachovia Securities and Banc of America were the joint book runners on the deal. The stock is expected to begin trading on the NASDAQ under the ticker TAST on Friday.
