EXCO Resources, which acquires, develops and exploits North American oil and natural gas properties, filed for an initial public offering with the SEC on Wednesday. The proposed offering will be lead managed by JP Morgan, Bear Stearns and Goldman Sachs. Pricing terms were not disclosed in the initial filing. The company has filed to be traded on the NYSE under the ticker XCO.
