Cal Dive International, the market leader in diving services for the oil and natural gas industry on the Gulf of Mexico Outer Continental Shelf, filed an S-1 registration statement for its IPO with the SEC on Wednesday. With a fleet of 26 ships, the Houston based company provides manned diving, pipelay and pipe burial services to off-shore oil and gas companies. Banc of America and JP Morgan are joint book runners on the deal. The company has not yet set terms or timing.
