Transmeta Corporation, a fabless maker of upgradable software-defined processors for notebook PCs and mobile internet appliances, raised the range for its proposed 13 million share offering from $11-$13 to $16-$18, according to an S-1/A filing with the SEC Friday. Morgan Stanley is the lead underwriter for this deal, which is expected to price Monday for trading Tuesday.
