Volcano, a manufacturer of intravascular ultrasound and related products used to diagnose heart disease, filed for an IPO on Friday. JPMorgan has been selected to lead manage the offering with Piper Jaffray, Bear Stearns and Cowen serving as co-managers. Terms and timing have yet to be determined.
