In a sign of strong demand, HealthSpring, a managed care company providing Medicare Advantage plans to 100,000 members, priced 18.8 million shares at $19.50 Thursday evening. The Nashville, TN based company originally planned to offer 17.0 million shares at $16 to $18. Goldman Sachs, Citigroup and UBS Investment Bank were the lead underwriters on the deal. Expect the stock to begin trading on the NYSE this morning under the symbol "HS."
