Amerisafe, a provider of workers’ compensation insurance for small- to mid-sized employers, priced 8.0 million shares at $9 Thursday night, the low end of its $9-$11 range. Friedman Billings, Keefe Bruyette Woods and William Blair underwrote the deal. Expect the stock to begin trading on the NASDAQ today under the symbol "AMSF."
