Darwin Professional Underwriters, which offers medical malpractice, errors & omissions and directors & officers insurance, priced its offering of 5.2 million shares at $16, the midpoint of its proposed $15 to $17 price range, on Thursday night. Merrill Lynch and Credit Suisse were the lead underwriters on the deal. The stock is expected to begin trading on the NYSE under the ticker DR on Friday.
