Animal hospital operator Veterinary Centers of America plans to raise $182mm in IPO

Veterinary Centers of America, which runs 15 veterinary diagnostics labs and 211 animal hospitals, plans to offer 14 million shares at a range of $12 to $14. The stock will trade on the NASDAQ under the ticker symbol "WOOF". CS First Boston and Goldman Sachs are lead managers for this deal. Timing is still to be determined.
