Health insurance provider Anthem, Inc. files IPO registration statement

Anthem, Inc., a provider of health benefit products in eight states, filed an S-1 statement with the SEC Friday. The Indianapolis, IN based firm which is converting from a mutual insurance company into a stock insurance company, plans to sell 28.6 million shares. The price range for the shares has yet to be determined. Goldman Sachs will lead manage this deal.
