Alliance Holdings GP, an entity that will own the general partnership interests of publicly traded coal limited partnership Alliance Resource Partners, plans to offer 12.5 million shares at a range of $23 to $25. Assuming the stock prices at the midpoint, the company will have an initial market capitalization of $1.4 billion. Lehman Brothers and Citigroup are the joint book runners on the deal.
