VeriFone, a global provider of technology enabling electronic payment transactions, filed for an initial public offering on Tuesday. Joint book runners on the deal will be CS First Boston and JP Morgan and the company has filed to be listed on the NYSE under the ticker PAY. Pricing terms were not available in the initial filing.
