Syngenta, a Swiss maker and seller of herbicides, fungicides, insecticides and seeds, priced 22.5 million ADS (the equivalent of 4.5 million ordinary shares) at $9.69, near the bottom of its $9.41-$11.62 range. This deal is lead underwritten by CS First Boston. The stock will begin trading Monday.
