Goodman Global, the second largest domestic manufacturer of heating, ventilation and air conditioning products for residential and light commercial use, announced Monday morning that it plans to offer 23.5 million shares at a range of $16 to $18. Assuming the stock prices at the midpoint, the company will have an initial market capitalization of $1.2 billion. JPMorgan, Merrill Lynch and Goldman Sachs head the list of underwriters on the deal. Terms and timing have yet to be disclosed.
