Leader's Advantage Acquisition, a blank check company targeting chemical and healthcare sectors, raised $150 million by offering 15 million units at $10. Each unit consists of one share of common stock, and one-half of one warrant to purchase a share, exercisable at $11.50.
Leader’s Advantage Acquisition is led by CEO and Chairman Paritosh Chakrabarti, the founder of chemical and plastics manufacturing company PMC Group. He is joined by CFO Edward Krynski, the Controller of PMC Group. The SPAC intends to target chemical and healthcare sectors with proven unit economics, the potential for stable free cash flow, among other characteristics.
The Mount Laurel, NJ-based company will trade on the Nasdaq under the symbol LEDRU. Clear Street and D. Boral Capital acted as joint bookrunners on the deal.
