E&S home insurer Orion180 Insurance Group prices IPO at $12, below the range

Orion180 Insurance Group, which provides excess & surplus (E&S) home insurance concentrated in the US Southeast, raised $240 million by offering 20 million shares at $12, below the $15 to $17 range. At the pricing, the company has a diluted market value of $1.2 billion.

Orion180 states it is the second E&S homeowners insurance provider in the United States by direct written premiums, with a presence in 14 states, approximately $601 million in managed premiums written for the last twelve months ended June 30, 2026, and over 670,000 policies sold since inception. Its diverse product offerings across E&S and admitted homeowners’ insurance, private flood insurance, and a range of ancillary products are distributed through a network of more than 14,000 active independent agents as of June 30, 2026.

The Melbourne, FL-based company will trade on the Nasdaq under the symbol OIG. RBC Capital Markets, UBS Investment Bank, Raymond James, Goldman Sachs, Deutsche Bank, Citizens JMP, and Texas Capital Securities acted as joint bookrunners on the deal.
