SPAC Football Manager SPAC files for a $100 million US IPO, targeting a European football club

Football Manager SPAC, a blank check company targeting a mid-tier European professional football club, filed on Wednesday with the SEC to raise up to $100 million in an initial public offering.

The company plans to raise $100 million by offering 10 million units at $10. Each unit consists of one share of common stock, and one whole warrant to purchase a share, exercisable at $11.50.

Football Manager SPAC is led by CEO and Chairman Alessandro Lamberti, the co-owner and President of Serie C football club Cavese 1919, and CFO Terrence Leifheit, a co-founder of OpenCrew Partners. The SPAC plans to target middle-tier football clubs in the leading European leagues, primarily in the UK, Italy, Spain, France, and Germany.

The Milan, Italy-based company was founded in 2026. It plans to list on the Nasdaq under the symbol FBLLU. D. Boral Capital is the sole bookrunner on the deal.
