Malaysian consultancy V Capital Consulting Group sets terms for $30 million US IPO

V Capital Consulting Group, a Malaysian business consulting firm, announced terms for its IPO on Thursday.

The Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia-based company plans to raise $30 million by offering 7.5 million shares at $4.00. At the proposed price, V Capital Consulting Group would command a market value of $142 million. The company originally filed for a US IPO in January 2026, and last amended its filing in March; in the latest filing, V Capital Consulting Group also replaced its lead underwriter.

V Capital Consulting Group (VCCG) provides listing consultancy and business strategy consultancy services for corporations. The company provides end-to-end listing solutions that cover advising on organizational readiness, managing due diligence process, conducting peer and industry analyses, supporting the drafting of offering materials, and providing assistance to customers throughout the listing process.

VCCG was formed out of Malaysian consulting firm VCI Global (Nasdaq: VCIG), which itself listed on the Nasdaq in 2023. V Capital Consulting Group underwent a restructuring in 2026, whereby VCI Global sold 100% of VCCG's equity to VHKL, an entity controlled by VCIG's CEO Hoo Voon Him, for consideration of $34 million (which has not been paid but shall be paid by 12/15/28 in the form of cash and/or stock); subsequent to the sale, Hoo Voon Him transferred the entire controlling stake in VHKL to his wife, Liew Soo Hua, Executive Director of VCCG.

V Capital Consulting Group was founded in 2016 and booked $11 million in revenue for the 12 months ended December 31, 2025. It plans to list on the Nasdaq under the symbol VCCG. Craft Capital Management is the sole bookrunner on the deal, replacing D. Boral Capital.
