River City Bank, a California-based commercial bank, raised $122 million by offering 2.7 million shares (100% secondary) at $45, below the $48 to $51 range. The offering contained 50 thousand fewer shares than anticipated.
River City Bank states that it is the largest independent bank headquartered in Sacramento, California, and that it ranks fifth by deposits in the Sacramento-Roseville-Folsom MSA as of June 30, 2025. The bank serves clients through eight full-service branches across the Sacramento MSA and a loan production office in San Francisco. As of June 30, 2026, it had total assets of $6.0 billion, total deposits of $5.4 billion, total loans of $4.7 billion, with total shareholders’ equity of $568 million. The bank's loan portfolio is primarily commercial real state, followed by Residential and C&I. Its CRE portfolio composition is led by multifamily, retail, industrial, and office, primarily located across the state of California.
The Sacramento, CA-based company will trade on the Nasdaq under the symbol RCBC. Raymond James and Keefe Bruyette Woods acted as joint bookrunners on the deal.
