In the second quarter of 2026, 48 IPOs raised a combined $104.8 billion, a record-breaking quarter led by SpaceX’s largest-ever IPO, and boosted by other aerospace and AI-related listings. An impressive 42 of those IPOs raised $50 million or more, led by SpaceX ($75.0 billion), Cerebras ($5.6 billion), and INNIO ($2.4 billion). With every IPO needing at least two law firms, one each for issuers and underwriters (and some with as many as five), there were 108 legal engagements with 46 law firms, or 283 engagements with 79 firms including SPACs.
