Danaos Corporation, an operator of 27 container vessels, priced its offering of 10.25 million shares at $21, the mid-point of its $20-$22 range. Danaos plans to use the proceeds from the offering to acquire an additional 16 containerships through 2009. Merrill Lynch and Citigroup acted as joint book-running managers for the IPO. The stock is set to open for trading under the ticker symbol "DAC" on Friday.
