Comstock Holdings Companies, a developer of real estate for sale, focused on single-family homes, townhouses, and condominiums, announced on Friday its plans to go public. The Reston, Virginia-based company currently operates in the Washington, DC and Raleigh, NC geographic areas. BB&T Capital Markets has been named the sole underwriter for the deal, and the terms and timing have yet to be determined.
