New Star Financial, a provider of customized debt financing to mid-sized businesses, filed for its IPO on Thursday. Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, Citigroup and Wachovia Securities are set to manage the deal for the Boston-based company. Terms and timing have yet to be announced.
