Alliance Holdings GP, a limited partnership that will own the general partnership interests of publicly traded coal limited partnership Alliance Resource Partners, registered for an initial public offering Tuesday afternoon. The Tulsa, OK-based company plans to offer 11.0 million partnership units. Lehman Brothers will underwrite the deal. A price range and timing have yet to be determined.
