Claymont Steel Holdings, a mini-mill manufacturer of custom discrete steel plate, priced its initial public offering of 8.7 million shares at $17, the high end of its proposed $15 to $17 range, on Monday night. The shares sold in the offering represented a 39% increase from the originally proposed 6.25 million shares. Jefferies was the lead underwriter on the deal. The stock is expected to begin trading on the NASDAQ under the ticker PLTE on Tuesday.
