LatAmGrowth SPAC is a newly organized blank check company. While we may pursue an acquisition opportunity in any business, industry, sector or geographical location, we intend to focus our search on high growth companies in Latin America, including Brazil, as well as businesses located in the United States that cater to the Hispanic community: (1) with significant technological advantages, and/or (2) that are well positioned to benefit from the favorable structural and secular trends of the emerging middle class. Our sponsor was formed by Members of SouthLight Capital, and Gerard Cremoux, our Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer and Director and the former Head of Latin America Investment Banking at UBS. This combination of a top-tier private equity firm that is seasoned in investing in Latin America and a senior investment banker with broad transactional experience and extensive connections in the region uniquely positions LatAmGrowth SPAC in its search of a business combination in Latin America, including Brazil, or with businesses located in the United States that cater to the Hispanic community.
