Our sponsor is an affiliate of Thoma Bravo, a software-focused private equity investment firm, with approximately $74 billion of assets under management as of September 30, 2020. Orlando Bravo, the Chairman of our board of directors, is one of the founders of Thoma Bravo and is one of its current managing partners. Although we intend to execute a business combination with a company in the software space, the above industry overview is not intended to be exhaustive, and we reserve the right to enter into our initial business combination with a business partner that does not necessarily fit precisely within the boundaries of the software space. We believe that our management team is also well situated to evaluate potential business partners in the broader technology space, including those that are deemed primarily to be in internet / consumer, FinTech or hardware-oriented companies, and we may also consider a business combination with such entities.
