We are a newly incorporated blank check company. While we may pursue an initial business combination target in any industry, subsector therein or geographic location (subject to certain limitations described in this prospectus), we intend to focus our search for a target business operating in the biotechnology industry. Social Capital Suvretta Holdings Corp. I is a partnership between Chamath Palihapitiya, the founder and current Managing Partner of Social Capital, and Kishan (a/k/a Kishen) Mehta, the Portfolio Manager of the Averill strategy at Suvretta. While we may pursue an initial business combination target in any subsector within the biotechnology industry, or in any other industry, we intend to focus on oncology. Accordingly, in our search for a target business within the biotechnology industry, we intend to focus on identifying therapeutics, novel platforms and other modalities to help manage and treat cancer.
