Marizyme, which is developing a portfolio of medical devices for cardiac surgery, CKD, and pet health, announced terms for its IPO on Wednesday. The company also disclosed financials for the 1H22, and added R.F. Lafferty as an underwriter. Marizyme is currently listed on the OTC (MRZM).
The Jupiter, FL-based company plans to raise $10 million by offering 1.4 million units at a price range of $6 to $8. Each unit contains one share of common stock and two warrants, exercisable at the IPO price. At the midpoint of the proposed range, Marizyme would command a fully diluted market value of $87 million.
Because the company plans to offer units with warrants attached, Marizyme will be excluded from Renaissance Capital's 2022 IPO stats.
Marizyme is focused on developing three medical technology platforms: DuraGraft, a one-time intraoperative vascular graft treatment that protects against ischemic injury and reduces the incidence and complications of graft failure; MATLOC, a point-of-care, lab-on-chip digital screening and diagnostic device platform for chronic kidney disease (CKD) assessment; and its Krillase protein enzyme, which provides therapeutics for wound healing, thrombosis, and pet health. In 2022, the company plans to focus on achieving FDA approval of DuraGraft as a medical device for coronary bypass artery graft, advance its MATLOC 1 CKD point-of-care device through the filing of an FDA 510(k) application, and advance its Krillase technology through a planned animal study.
Marizyme was founded in 2007 and plans to list on the Nasdaq under the symbol MRZM. Univest Securities and R.F. Lafferty & Co. are the joint bookrunners on the deal.
