Chinese home services platform Daojia files for a $100 million US IPO

Daojia, which operates a home services network in China, filed on Friday with the SEC to raise up to $100 million in an initial public offering.

Daojia operates Swan Daojia, a home services platform that spans a wide array of categories, including maternity nurse, nanny, housekeeping services, training services, and SaaS-based solutions. It was the largest home services platform in China by gross transaction volume in 2020, with more than 1.5 million registered and verified service providers as of March 31, 2021. 

The Beijing, China-based company was founded in 2014 and booked $118 million in sales for the 12 months ended March 31, 2021. It plans to list on the NYSE under the symbol JIA. J.P. Morgan, UBS Investment Bank, and CICC are the joint bookrunners on the deal. No pricing terms were disclosed.
